Rodeo Fresh and airy, this is a really fun little EP, and I'm definitely looking forward to hearing where Polly goes from here.

Utterly Taxing in particular stands out, as an upbeat dreamy folk jam that I've got stuck in my head! Favorite track: Utterly Taxing.

Miles Toure Strange and beautiful. I fell on a Tumblr music blog which likened this EP to some of my all-time favorite artists (Bjork, J Buckley). I recognize what the reviewer meant, yet this short collection of songs creates a world entirely of its own. It's a gorgeous world, but a slightly unsettling, at times frightening one. Not that you'd guess from the first track Utterly Taxing which, musically, is an addictively-sweet pop gem. That doesn't last... though. A-mazing. Favorite track: Christmas Eve.

'I'm a diddy diddy downfaced today I'm a diddy diddy downfaced today' An airless night where shadows snapped She went from big room to small then back With herself you know she'd made a pact To tell the truth and let that be that He met her for drinks and asked polite, 'So tell me about you, what do you like?' Swirling her ice she replied, 'I find it utterly taxing this being alive.' 'I'm a diddy diddy downfaced today' Scuttle the pavement, scuttle the street, She yells, 'does anyone object but me?' 'I am wretched but I think I'm right I am wretched but hell I'm right!'

Jennifer inspired him to begin A process called self-improving But then he began to find lots vacuous He said, 'Girl at you I am furious' Now his only career goal Is to catch Jennifer Gentle 'Cause she's responsible For this terrible idea Oh Mother Mary I want an easy life, I want sleep I'm not sure about those people anymore He used to walk into a party And wonder, 'Do these people like me?' But now he walks in and he wonders if He likes any of them Think it was better, better before I slept through the night I dreamed of nothing, nothing at all But now music Y'know it makes me feel kind of sick My records make me feel Make me feel the bad thing, bad thing, bad thing
